CCA Senior Farewell 2015

A few activities were held on the last day of CCA in Semester 1.
Members were involved in the inter-CCA Olympics in the earlier part of the day.
It ended with the distribution of the SDMA 2015 award where one group obtained the Merit
Award as well as the writing of cards for the Rohingyas and not forgetting the farewell party for the Seniors.

Photography Workshop for selected Info.Media Members 4th June 2015

A group of Sec 1-3 Info.Media members attended a photography workshop to get them acquainted better with the Canon DSLR that the club has. It was a joint session with a few Bedok South Secondary School students. They learnt how to manage the DSLR and apply the correct aperture, shutter speed, ISO and other techniques in photography.

The group went to Mount Faber after lunch for outdoor photography so that they can practice the skills they learnt.

Each participant receive a photo souvenir of what they have taken and chosen for the critique session.

CCA on the 24th April

                           

   Info.media members started off the day with some stretching and exercises ,
 and the morning run then after. After the exercise, the info.media members
 played a modified game of dodge ball to keep fit and have fun.

CCA on the 10th April

The members went through a session on Stop Animation on the 10th of April.
They learnt about what stop animation is as well as the various types and tips on what is needed when doing a stop animation.
The next part of the CCA session required members to brainstorm on a stop animation clip that they would like to produce in the next CCA session. 

CCA on the 27th March

The CCA had a full activity on the 27th of March that focused on developing their physical health to cognitive development.

CNY Celebration 2015

Almost half of the Info.Media members were involved in this year's CNY Celebration 2015.
Other than taking photographs and videos today, the team tried out the GoPro4 which Senior Pu Jie kindly loan out to the CCA. The members did almost 2 hours of duty. Hopefully the footages and photographs taken would be useful in the production of SG50 this year.

SDMA 2015 preparation - Brann's Group

For SDMA 2015 , Brann's group is working on the nature around

Henderson Road , most notably the rainforest trees along the road.

They had an interviewed with an Enviromentalist , who taught them 

the many species of plants and trees along Henderson road , how 

they function and the unique features about them. The theme is on

a place that is special around Henderson itself , so Brann's group

decided to focus on the unique trees found along Henderson road.
