International Beach Clean Up on 8th September 2012

A group of  Info.media club members were part of the team of volunteers who helped out to clean up therubbish at Chek Jawa, Pulau Ubin.

It was really amazing to see the amount of rubbish that have been washed up the shore.

Where do the rubbish come from?
The boats, ships and inconsiderate people who do not throw their litter properly.

Though it was tiring, everyone had a fun time bonding and saving the natural environment.

The Info.Media Club was involved in the DV Campus Competition organized by Mediacorp
and Commonwealth Travel Company in 2011.

The club is delighted and honoured to announce that our entry on Glocalisation in Henderson Secondary School has clinched the second runner – up position in the competition. Our entry was one of the top three entries selected froma total of 34 entries for the Secondary/ITE/JC Category.

We had a tough competition from Nanyang Girls’ and Hwa Chong Institute .

Though we did not walk away with the top prize, the competition has given us the platform to be video journalists, be more confident of ourselves and realize our dreams of becoming a broadcaster.

We would like to thank all the teachers and the club members for your continued
Support. Without your encouragement and support, nothing would have been possible!
